NEXT DATES AND TIMES:
May 5 & 6, 2012, Class will begin at 7am sharp. It is strongly suggested that you arrive before 6:30am on Saturday morning, at the Smoke Diver      
classroom, in order to verify that your registration is complete. Students need to be prepared for two full days.

LOCATION:
The Texas Smoke Diver training course is taught at the Beaumont Emergency Services Training (BEST) Complex, a division of Industrial Safety
Training Council (ISTC) in Beaumont,  Texas

TUITION:
The tuition for the Texas Smoke Diver training course is $200 before April 7, 2012. After the 7th, it is $300. Generally non-refundable. Circumstances will
be considered however. Students will be notified by April 14, 2012 of their acceptance.

TRAINING REIMBURSEMENT:
This training is accepted by the Texas Forest Service for the Training Tuition Grant reimbursements through the "Rural Volunteer Fire Department
Assistance Program", (HB 2604). It is available for any chartered, non-profit volunteer fire department operated by its members and any part-paid/part
volunteer fire department provided the number of paid members is 20 or less. Courses offered by the TEEX Emergency Service Training Institute are
eligible. The application form may be acquired from the TFS website or by contacting the Texas Forest Service in College Station at (979) 458-6505 or

LODGING:
Various national hotel chains have locations in Beaumont. A good nights sleep on Friday and Saturday is highly recommended. Early reservations are also
recommended.

MEALS:
A noon meal is provided each day. Students should be properly hydrated and nutritionally prepared for physical exertion on both days.

REQUIRED:
Each student must provide their own full set of NFPA compliant Personal Protective Equipment and one complete SCBA with a spare bottle. Bottles need to
be full upon arrival and within hydro test. Bottles will be refilled as needed during training.
IMPORTANT: Students flying in for the class need to make ground transportation arrangements for their bottles well in advance.

CLASS SIZE:
Strictly limited to 24. If the class is full it may be necessary to place a limit of 2 students per department.

INSTRUCTOR / STUDENT RATIO:
Minimum of 1 to 3 in order to provide maximum instruction and skills experience. All instructors in this course are graduates of this course.
